Alexander Calder's Mobiles
Alexander Calder invented the mobile. Mobiles didn't exist before him.
His mobiles are beautiful, graceful, rhythmic.
If you think that is easy to achieve, I challenge you to try it yourself. Get some wire, cut up some cardboard or paper into shapes, and build yourself a mobile.
You may discover just how difficult it is to achieve the amazing balance that appears so effortless in a Calder mobile.
